INFORMATION REGARDING ADDITIONAL EXPERTISE IN THE AREA OF HYPNOMED-ADVANCED PAIN MANAGEMENT

Practitioners who have enhanced their qualifications with specialized training in Advanced Pain Management hypnosis are proficient in utilizing techniques developed by the South African Institute of Hypnotism, which are unique to this field. It’s important to note that Advanced Pain Management hypnosis skills complement the techniques used by certified non-medical hypnotherapists (CHT) and/or Parts Therapy Facilitators (CPTF).

It is important to understand that non-medical hypnosis practices serve as an alternative and or complimentary method and should not be considered a substitute for established and reputable medical approaches.

The program focuses on three specific fields of pain management:

  • Chronic pain :

These hypnosis techniques addresses the needs of chronic pain by accessing the subconscious mind and working with the underlying causes and patterns when necessary that contribute to the clients pain experience. This includes identifying and addressing the triggers and unconscious patterns associated with the painful sensations.

  • Hypno-Dontics:

For many people the thought of going to the dentist can be perhaps more severe than the actual visit. Practitioners who have included the advanced pain management skill set to their qualifications are well equipped in assisting people to work on their fears phobias of the dental process allowing them to enjoy a more peaceful and pleasant experience.

  • Hypnobirthing:

This may involve connecting with the little one inside to begin building an incredible bond before the birth as well as looking at conditions that occur during pregnancy to assist the mom to be with having a comfortable experience and more relaxed birthing procedure.

Pain serves as a message that there is something that needs attention in the body and the advanced pain management practitioner aims to bring about positive changes and understanding to the message through looking at the Clients thoughts, emotions, and how the client experiences their pain utilizing various steps delivered during a hypnotic state.
