Worldclass Hypnotherapy Training with SAIH

The full core curriculum can be completed in approximately 12 to 18 months, depending on the course schedule and your progress through the practical work and assessments.
The core courses are structured like building blocks and are best taken in sequence. Each course builds on the knowledge and skills developed in the previous one. There is approximately a month between courses to practice, experience the techniques and consolidate your learning, so you arrive at the next building block with greater understanding and practical confidence. *
Completing the training involves classroom attendance, home study, practical work and the required assessments. This gives you time to develop your skills and demonstrate your competence as you progress towards qualification. 
Optional electives can extend your studies according to your interests and their entry requirements.

We welcome students at our Mastermind training centres in Randburg, Johannesburg, and Blouberg, Cape Town. 
Each training centre arranges its own course venues. The venue details are displayed on the course booking form, so you can check the location as you book.

Each course has its own fee, clearly displayed on its booking page. You pay per course, so you do not need to pay for the full curriculum upfront. This spreads the cost over your training journey and makes it more manageable as you progress towards qualification. 
There are no hidden costs. The advertised course fee includes instruction and the course manual. You do not need to purchase extra books or required learning materials, so you know exactly what the course will cost before booking. 
A finance option is also available, with details displayed on our training website.

Self-Mastery Through Auto-Hypnosis is an excellent starting point. This one-day course usually takes place approximately once a month at each training centre, giving you a regular opportunity to begin learning and experience hypnosis for yourself. 
You learn a practical life skill that you can continue using for the rest of your life. The course also includes a free Home Practice Kit to support your ongoing practice. Experiencing our approach firsthand can help you decide whether practitioner training is right for you. 
Self-Mastery also contributes to the required training hours for qualification, so it forms part of your training journey even if you attend it later. 
You can also begin directly with Client-Centred Hypnosis Level 1 (CC1), the first building block of the practitioner curriculum. CC1 may only be offered twice a year, so if a course is coming up and you are ready to start, you can attend CC1 first and complete Self-Mastery afterwards.

At what stage of training can I charge for my sessions? 
You can begin earning while continuing your studies, once you have reached the relevant stage of SAIH’s training pathway. 
You can begin charging once you have achieved your first practitioner qualification, Certified Parts Therapy Facilitator (CPTF). 
You therefore do not need to wait until you have completed the entire core curriculum. Your earnings from sessions could even help finance the final stage of your advanced training. 
After completing CC3, you could also charge for group hypnosis sessions, working within the scope of the training you have completed.

We are here to support you on your training journey. Our facilitators, assessors and administrative team can help with course questions, practical submissions and the training process, each within their area of responsibility. 
Mentoring can be arranged where needed to help you develop your skills and confidence in practice. Some mentoring is included in your training, while additional support may carry a fee, depending on what is required. 
We also offer online masterclasses outside the formal curriculum to support our members’ continued learning. 
Our focused members’ forum provides another space to ask questions, exchange ideas and experiences, and learn from one another.

SAIH offers two main qualifications:

SAIH’s non-medical hypnotherapy training offers an extensive, in-depth core curriculum that combines theoretical understanding with practical experience. You learn how to guide someone into hypnosis, deepen the experience, communicate effectively and apply the techniques taught at each level of training. Throughout, you develop an understanding of ethical practice, professional boundaries and the scope of non-medical hypnotherapy. 
The core courses are structured like building blocks, with each course building on the one before it. They are taken in sequence, with approximately a month between courses to practise your skills, experience the techniques and consolidate your learning. You then arrive at the next building block with greater understanding, practical experience and confidence, ready to build on that foundation. 
Beyond learning scripts and procedures, you develop the observation, listening and facilitation skills needed to respond to each person as an individual. 
You can also develop your interests through a range of optional electives, including Past Life Regression. These allow you to explore additional approaches and extend your learning according to your interests and goals, subject to the entry requirements for each elective. 
At SAIH, you learn together. Fellow students bring different perspectives, questions and experiences into the room. You learn through live demonstrations, observing one another and discussing what happened. Someone else’s question or experience can reveal something you might not have discovered on your own. 
You practise with each other in a safe, supervised learning environment, experiencing both the facilitator’s and the participant’s role. This helps you understand how your words, pacing and approach may be experienced by another person. Study buddies can provide further opportunities to practise, exchange feedback and support one another between training sessions. 
Your facilitator is there as the learning happens. You can ask questions immediately, receive clarification and get guidance when you feel uncertain. The facilitator can observe your practice, help you make adjustments and turn those moments into learning opportunities for the group. 
This shared learning experience is central to SAIH’s approach. Alongside practical skills, you build confidence, connections and a sense of belonging with others who are learning with you. 
Online resources can support your studies. Our commitment to face-to-face training brings the depth of the curriculum to life through direct human experience, supervised practice and live mentoring. 
On completing the full core curriculum and meeting the assessment requirements, you will be equipped to work both symptomatically and at an advanced level. This includes exploring underlying subconscious patterns that may contribute to a client’s physical, mental or emotional experience—even where symptoms remain unresolved despite healthcare support. You will learn to help clients work with these patterns, release outdated interpretations and responses, and update subconscious understandings to support meaningful change, within the scope of non-medical hypnotherapy. 
The approach is client-centred: the client discovers their own solutions, with you facilitating the process. Because these solutions come from the client’s own insights, needs and inner resources, they are personally authentic and meaningful, helping the changes become integrated into everyday life and supporting lasting results.

You do not need previous qualifications or experience in hypnosis or a helping profession to begin your training at SAIH. You need a reasonable command of English to follow the teaching and course materials, and a genuine desire to help people.
