How does the SAIH curriculum work

Our courses are thoughtfully designed to be taken sequentially, ensuring a cohesive learning journey.

Check out the course listings below for detailed information, including explanations of the course acronyms. We recommend beginning your SAIH educational journey with “Self Mastery through Auto Hypnosis,” the only course that can be taken out of order.

Your journey officially commences with “CC1,” serving as the initial step. Please note that missing this course may result in a 5 to 6-month waiting period for the next intake at your chosen training center.
Subsequently, the core curriculum unfolds as follows: “CC1” >> “RSA” >> “CC2” >> “CC3” >> “PT” >> “CC4” >> “CC5” (detailed descriptions are available in the course listings).

Most of our SAIH courses incorporate case studies, and specific details will be provided within each relevant course.

SAIH also offers five specialty courses, and the great news is that these are elective, allowing you to choose according to your interests and needs.

To obtain your final “Certified Hypnotherapist (CHT nm)” qualification, you only need to complete one specialty course. However, many of our students eventually opt to complete all of them, enhancing their skill set.

Important Points about our Training

SAIH offers an integrated training system where theoretical and practical skills and knowledge are utilized throughout the courses. Students personally experience the benefits of both facilitating and receiving practical hypnosis sessions.

Each course builds on the knowledge base of the previous one allowing for growth into very advanced techniques.

In addition to the internationally recognized qualifications as a Certified Hypnotherapist (CHT)nm, only at SAIH can you qualify as Certified Parts Therapy Facilitator (CPTF) internationally recognized through the Charles Tebbett’s foundation.

In-class training incorporates many practical exercises ranging from group hypnosis sessions to one on one practice.

In addition to the engaging conversations in class and lively Q&A’s during the weekend courses, the support of the trainers and guidance of the assessors is available for the studying groups and individuals.

With a comprehensive selection of speciality courses available, we cater for a wide variety of preferences such as Spiritual Hypnosis Practices, Conversational Hypnosis, HypnoMed, Compulsive Behaviour & Smoking Cessations as well as Past Life Regression and Soul Journeys.

Time Frame to Full Qualification

The full qualification of CHT (Certified Hypnotherapist) may be obtained within approximately 12 to 16 months of study (depending on the school calendar) or alternatively completed in sections over a longer period of time.

GHSC – General Hypnotherapy Standards Council

The General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC) and General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) are the UK’s largest and most prominent organisations within the field of Hypnotherapy and together present an exemplary model for the simultaneous protection of the public and the provision of practitioner credibility and services. The GHSC is responsible for overseeing the criteria for the ongoing registration of individual practitioners within the GHR, all complaints brought by the public against such registered practitioners and for the assessment and accreditation of hypnotherapy training courses which lead to that registration. It comprises more than 140 separate affiliated Professional Bodies & Training Schools, all of which may be viewed via our search facility.

APHP – Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy

APHP was established as a non-profit association in 1999 and has been running for 22 years with the aim of maintaining high standards within the professional arena of Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy. SAIH and the Mastermind Training Centres are listed on the APHP list of accredited schools as we have been vetted and approved by APHP Ltd as being of high professional quality. The APHP offer free student membership to SAIH students.

IMDHA – The International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association

The mission of the IMDHA is to provide and encourage education programs to further, the knowledge, understanding, and application of hypnosis in complementary healthcare; to encourage research and scientific publication in the field of hypnosis; to promote the further recognition and acceptance of hypnosis as an important tool in healthcare and focus for scientific research; to cooperate with other professional organizations that share mutual goals, ethics and interests; and to provide a professional community for those complementary healthcare professionals, therapists and researchers who use hypnosis in their work. It is designed to be a Referral Service of Certified Members to healthcare providers as well as the general public.

The client-centered methods we teach at SAIH are rooted in the empowering truth that clients possess the solutions to their own challenges, the client-centered practitioner’s role is to attentively listen, understand, and apply proven techniques. This empowers clients to access their innate capacity for growth and improvement.

Acceptance into our program is not determined by academic prerequisites or scholarly accomplishments. Rather, we seek individuals who are passionate about their own and others well-being.

Qualify with SAIH: Certification

The SAIH training stream system is divided into MAINSTREAM courses (including Home Study modules) and SPECIALTY Courses. It is designed so students can practice within the scope of their training and can continue the path to full qualification as a Certified Hypnotherapist (CHT).

SAIH is the only training Institute on the African continent to offer the internationally recognized certification as Parts Therapy Facilitator.

The culmination of your studies offers the final certification known as CHT (Certified Hypnotherapist) with a technique fondly termed the “Crown Jewel” of hypnotherapy and this qualification holds international recognition. As an analytical hypnotherapeutic technique it allows us to uncover and resolve deeply hidden and repressed issues resulting in greater freedom to be our true selves. The ANALYTICAL MASTERMIND TECHNIQUE© uniquely combines aspects of the work of Dr Barnett’s, aspects of Emmerson’s Ego State Therapy, Watkin’s Affect Bridge, Forgiveness Therapy and Mastermind’s own techniques and integration methods, developed by Claudia Klein CHT (non-medical), CPTF, CPTT.

FAQ

How Long does it take to complete the course training?

Students can complete the full curriculum in about 12 to 18 months.

Where do I go for training?

Each of the mastermind training centers have their own venues and this is alwasy communicated via email once you have booked your courses.

How much do the courses cost?

Each course has its own costs and all costs inculude course manual and instruction additional costs are always communicated effectively.

Which course is best to start with?

Self Mastery is always the best place to start however this is the only course that can be completed at any point in your training as most of our courses build on the one before.

When can one start charging for services?

Once you have completed your first qualification Certified Parts Therapy Facilitator(CPTF) you may then start charging for one on one sessions, however you can charge for group hypnosis once you have completed CC 3.

What support can I expect from SAIH?
