After experiencing the devastation of divorce, I was diagnosed with depression but discovered that I was drug sensitive and unable to tolerate medication. Desperate and depressed, I tried hypnosis and was so impressed with my own results that I decided to study this wonderful modality so that I too could “pay the healing forward”!
I work with clients who are depressed, or who struggle with stopping smoking or weight management, as I believe being able to conquer what controls you, is key to your own healing. I also deal with other challenges such as interview anxiety, early childhood trauma, low self esteem, fears, phobias and insomnia.

Having been intrigued by the mind, body, spirit connection my entire life has taken me on a journey of discovery, starting with the study of psychology and culminating in the study of hypnotherapy which brings everything together in a most comprehensive manner.
Hypnosis is a natural state inherent in everyone, enabling the client to connect to the subconscious mind and powerful inner resources, making client-centred hypnotherapy an amazingly effective modality.

We all have within us a subconscious awareness, and a resilience to overcome debilitating emotions, chronic and physical ailments. Hypnosis practices involve a process whereby I guide YOU to identify and deal with the root causes of dysfunctional behaviour and disorders – some which may have had an early childhood onset, or even from a past life.
I work with limiting beliefs, release and transform self-defeating emotions, fears, anxiety, addiction, compulsive behaviours, dysfunctional relationships, MS, depression, asthma and IBS. My assistance is premised on my own experience of having overcome self-destructive trauma and depression.

I knew this was my calling. As a qualified hypnotherapist, I have worked with hundreds of clients over the past 10 years and witnessed the transformative positive effects they have experienced.
I specialize in past life regression and soul journey work, exploring the spiritual realm between lives. I work with most issues clients struggle with.
I am also a professional life coach, and a qualified pre-school teacher, and bring this knowledge and experience into my sessions.

During my adolescence I developed a curiosity in the difference between the mind and the brain, and that the mind is made up of a conscious part and an unconscious part. This led me towards my chosen career.
I studied a BA Honours in Psychology at UCT. Over the years I added on qualifications in Counselling, Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behaviour Hypnotherapy, Mindfulness and Neuro Linguistic Programming.
I am a registered Gastropsych Practioner with the Rome Foundation’s North Carolina hypnosis protocol for Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
